We bought this car 2 months ago. It had a clean carfax. So far we replaced the evap canister power steering pump. It's running great now ..Tell me if you own one what your mileage and experience has been with your bmw 325 ci.

  1. I own a BMW (97 740i) and my bit of advice is that once it hits 100k it tends to have some weird things happens to it. Mine has 191k miles... twice it would turn off while in reverse and the computer has a mind of its own. With the 325 ci, though, you should be fine because the engine isn't nearly as complex and doesn't require the computer within to overreact to certain things. It's smart you got one at 54k, but never, ever buy a BMW w/ over 100k. Your just asking for trouble. But you seem fine. Good luck with it.

  2. well id never buy one but either way 54,000 miles is not even broke in good when most any car can run great into the 400,000 range

  3. Get it.  I owned a 325is with over 150k miles, and it stilled handled great.  I then replaced it with a 03 330ci.  Bmw have great engines.  Make sure you test the sun roof, I had some issues where it got stuck, but was replaced under warranty.  Also the window rubber seal came off prematurely, which was replaced under warranty.

they are great cars and lots of fun to drive.
