2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Columbia Edition, Driver door trim panel is not working.

The remote control will not open the driver door, but will open other doors. Driver door trim panel does not work, All windows are not working.

  1. The door jumper wiring harness has a broken wire in it. The black tube that is there about halfway up the door on the jam itself when you open the door.  The wires tend to break and corrode from the door opening and closing.  Repair cost is minimal, maybe $100.00 or so.  The problem is well known with JEEP's


  2. Take your "non working" trim panel off the door and loosen the plastic dust cover and check the connection where the plug wires enter the door.   good luck
