Im looking for a good setup to put inside my pickup, not in the back box...I only want 1 12"subwoofer...also i am wondering how to mount it because there are holding compartments under the fold-up seats, are there specific mounts that will fit in the compartment, or do i need to cut out the compartment to fit a sub-box in???

  1. You might need to cut a little bit, but I suggest getting a shallow subwoofer because that is meant more for cabs instead of cars or SUV's. Then get a mounting placement or a shallow fit box to put in the back. Probably no cutting needed if you get that, so look at the MTX fits or kenwood excelons, because they both make great shallows, and MTX might have a custom fit box already made for your cab.

  2. I have an 05 Avalanche 1500 and face the same problem, rear space. I have this new sub and enclosure that's out by Rockford Fosgate that hits tremendously well. It's called the P3L-S12 (12" woofer 400 RMS/800 Peak) I bought it from best buy via employee discount, but I'm sure you can get it much cheaper online. Check out my cardomain page if you'd like to see pictures of it, or if you have any questions just feel free to ask.

  3. Check this out... No 12's though.
