2004 V6 Mustang Oil Burning and White Exhaust Smoke?

I have a 2004 V6 Mustang with CAI, X-pipe/Full Exhaust, Aftermarket Valve Covers, MAC Headers. I recently changed my oil and realized there was only about 2qrts of oil in it. I have also noticed recently that when I start my car when the engine is cold, some white-ish smoke comes out of the exhaust only for a few seconds. I am trying to figure out why I am burning so much oil and why there is white smoke.

  1. sounds like valve stem seals they will usually produce smoke if you let

it idle for 5 min and then rev the engine

  2. what is your coolant level at have you been topping it up. oil will burn blue it might be from your aftermarket valve covers leaking. is it smoke or steam wich is normal
