2004 avalanche truck, stuck in low 4 wheel drive? HELP PLEASE!?

I have a 2004 avalanche truck, and it has always had problems with the 4 wheel drive buttons. Sometimes when I turn the truck on it is in 4 wheel drive for no reason.

It is an automatic truck, with the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel.

We have tried to fix it by disconnecting the battery, taking out the fuses for the 4 wheel drive and putting it back in.

But we can't figure out what is wrong.

If anyone knows what to do or how to fix this problem, please let me know as soon a possible.

I'm trying to get it into 2 wheel drive from low 4 wheel drive.

I appreciate any help I can get.

its sounds like a electrical problem you should take it to a gm dealer because it will mess up your trans. if you go over 40 mph on low and it wastes fuel
