There are 2 plastic bolts which hinges the glove box. You do not need any tools. Turn the plastic hings, little hard. When the hinges extension on the outside of the glove box aligns with the holes on the box itself, you will be able to pull the hinges out. When both of these come out, the box will still be affixed to the dash with the bottom hinges of the glove box. In Summary the you are removing only the two plastic hinges which are accesible inside the glove box. Once the hinges are removed, you have easy access to the Cabin Filter. You will have to put the hinges back after you are done with the cabin filter replacement.
