  1. First thing you should do when you get a bike (new or used) is buy a service manual.  I got mine off EBay.  The best $25 I spent on my ride.

This will have detailed instructions on how to perform any maintenance on your bike.  On my bike for example, there is an oil sump screen that should be cleaned every other oil change.  Without a service manual, I would have never have known this.

It will also let you know when you are getting in over your head.

Even if you don't do a maintenance procedure yourself, you will at least have some understanding of what your mechanic is doing.

Now, to answer your question, the oil capacity is 1.2 liters, or about 1.27 quarts.

  2. 1 qt with Just Oil oil change

1.1 qt with Oil & Filter change

    1.2 qts for "dry engine"

I'll leave mine so You can get the Manual if you'd like.

    It's a direct link to a Large-ish PDF File,,,,takes a while to download .

Save it on your computer,,,so you'll always have "instant access" and can print sheets, etc.
