2005 325i Bluetooth Help

i have the business cd player and also have a phone button and another button below it that do nothing... im guessing thats for bluetooth or something... how do i use it

Push the MENU button on the right side. You use the left k**b to select Phone. You'll see the letters BT on the right side of the display. you push the buttons underneath the letters to activate blutooth. make sure your phone is 'discoverable' in its blutooth menu and then pair it. Btw the button underneath the phone button on the steering wheel is for bluetooth voice commands. the car should find all your phones contacts

Look at your vehicle's options list. Note that bluetooth ready is not bluetooth enabled. For bluetooth to work, your car should have the

TEL/TCU module, and should be properly programmed/coded.

Also, check your user's manual as to how to pair a bluetooth phone to your car, then try to pair a bluetooth phone. When prompted for

the pass/code, try putting in 0000, if this is not accepted by the car,

get the proper pass/code from the dealer, who would have to get it from the TCU in your car with a dealer scanner.

Just having the buttons does not mean anything, not unless you have the TCU in your car.
