2005 325i Sunroof Help

ok i have an 05 bmw 325i sedan with the sport package... almost everyday im learning something new about it.. some safety or convenience feature and what not... when my sunroof is completely open and i go to shut it i just push the slider button thingy forward once and it shuts all the way automatically... well here lately when i flick the slider forward to shut it at about half way shut itll stop and open back up...

now im SURE nothing is broken cause i mean if i hold the slider forward itll shut all the way... it only stops if i do the one touch shut feature...

so maybe this is some feature that my car is equipped with??? ive noticed it does this when its hot outside.. i dunno maybe its coincidence...

Try to re-initialize the sunroof.

Press to tilt the sunroof and hold continously until the mechanism

tilts the glass, moves it fully backward, and then closes.

Press the button up, not forward or backward.

After re-initialization, test the one-touch feature. If it still does not work,

then bring it to a dealer for diagnosis.
