The sound is loud and catches you off guard alot. Usually goes off while driving at higher speeds (60-80mph), every 10 minutes or so.

  1. It sounds like the main alarm controller is defected, have an independent well know and trusted alarm shop take a quick look at it and at the same time have them check the alarm wiring harness and grounds..

  2. your alarma is messed up. i had one that when i was driving i could push the button on it and the alarm would go off as i was driving the lights would switch back and forth high to low. and alarm would sound. prety funny people would get out of my way like i was a cop. but that cars long gone now.

  3. Some vehicles have an internal speed alarm which can be set by the driver. It warns them when they ar speeding. Check you instrument panel too see if your vehicle is equipped with it. You can set the speed at whatever you want or turn it off completely.
