Not sure if I am using the right name but I am looking for a "free" website that shows me what it is, where in the vehicle it's located, it's function and possibly have links to where I can purchase one for cheap.

The headlamp pigtail is the wiring connector that plugs into the light-bulb. The pigtail includes 6 to 10 inches if wire per pin in the connector (Usually 3 wires) so that you can rewire a damaged wiring assembly damaged in an accident or fire or just from chaffing. You can get these pigtails from your Ford dealer or you can try to find one at a u-pull-it type junk yard.

its the connector that is at the back of the headlight,,if you remove the headlight its the connector that's connect at the headlight.
