Excuse my blonde moment...2 Questions...If wales win it on the weekend will it be the 2 grand slam in 3 years or 4 years?

2005 - 2006 - 1 year

2006 - 2007 - 2 years

2007 - 2008 - 3 years

Oh and was wales the first British team ever to win at croke park?

Thanks..

  1. It is 4 years. I don't know why you're counting them over 2 years (eg. 2005-2006) - the entire tournament takes place over 2 months, from the beginning of February to the middle of March.

    2005 - Grandslam

    2006 - No grandslam

    2007 - No grandslam

    2008 - Maybe...?

So (if we win on Saturday) that would be the second Grandslam, out of the last 4 tournaments.

It might have been 3 years ago that we won it last, but it wouldn't have been 2 out of 3 - do you see?

And as far as I know, we are the first British team to come back from Croke with a win.

  2. I would say 4 years!

No, we  are not the first British team to win there!

  3. Three years.  Since it was last won during 2005, if won again this year,  - a gap of only three years will have passed.

Four years past would take us back to March 2004, surely ?
