2005 Mazda3 GT opinions?

With the help of my parents the other day we bought a 2005 Mazda3 GT and i love it. It came with new wheels, they lowered the suspension, and it had a brand new spoiler on it. I just wanted to hear what your opinions were on a Mazda.

I too have had several mazda cars.  a 323, a GLC, a RX7, a 626 GT Turbo, and now a 3.  I can't say enough good things about my 3.  it's a GS 5-door, 2.3L engine.  Handles like it's glued to the road.  Don't skimp on tires and if you drive in snow get a set of steel wheels and dedicated snows.  I average over 30 mpg.  High of 34 average highway down to 26 in the winter all around when I'm not easy on the gas.  It's a much better car, IMO than a comparable sedan or hatch from the competition.  Watch the engine mounts for leakage.  Check out the forms dedicated to Mazda's for lots of information.  Mine has the Bose stereo, it sucks.  Save your money and go aftermarket.  Too much vibration and reverb in the door panels.  But for a sporty hatch, it's the bomb.

I'm a mazda die hard. I love 'em my whole family loves 'em. My mom especially, she had a red '80 something 323, a '88 Mx6 gt turbo, which is mine now, and she just bought a '06 6 v6 grand sport. The 6 is a fabulous car. I'm working on getting a mazdaspeed 3 or 6, whichever one i can find for cheaper, there bolth awsome.

I like that car. It feels like a sports car to drive and has the best handling in class.

It is one of the best handling FWD cars. Reliable too.

The Mazda 3 is a fun car to drive and very sporty.  Since this is probably your first car, make sure you take care of it!
