Ok, I just found a Scion tC with 72k miles, perfect condition, 12k. could probably get 11, maybe 10.5k. What do you guys think? Also, is this good for a first car? or do you think this is too much to spend? Thanks to all who help.

  1. I just traded an 05 tC SC with 72k miles and good condition.  The dealer was trying to sell it for $11.5k.  Assuming it didnt break down again before they sell it someone will pay it.  Of course it had been through 2 superchargers and 2 radiators but it was fixed again right before I got rid of it.

I would think you could get a regular one for closer to $9.5k.

  2. thats a good price

  3. That is way over priced! If you really like that car try to haggle them down to 9.5k if possible. If you can't try and get a Toyota Corolla! They get great gas mileage and run well for a very long time! Here's the link for the Corolla!

  4. Seems like a little too much to pay for a 75k vehicle. I bought a brand new 2007 tC for 16k.

The car itself, however, is excellent. It performs well, rides comfortably, and is overall a reliable car. I recommend you try to get a lower price for it and then buy it: 10.5k seems reasonable.

  5. That's a good car, but that's too many miles for the price.
