g-day people from aorund the globe i have an issue quite a serious one of it, i have a 2005 model crf 150f completly race setup.

now i dont remeber when the bike was new but for a 4-stroke of this bikes nature not being a motorcross bike is she supose to rev on its own with out any throttle assistance under full choke? mine does'nt im running the standard jets but the pin on the 2nd grove down from the bottom richening up the mixture but i still have a flat spot in my throttle response once revs are applied suddenly she bogs out and then catches back up if i release the throttle what do i do richen the mixture up even more to the very last grove??? , i"ve been told to run a 105 main jet currently is a 92 off the top of my head not exactly shore though.

And how do i get that back the engine running on its own without any throttle assistance under full chock thats if the 4-stroke do this i know the 2-strokes do but not shore of the 4's i dont remember when i bought it new

cheers

  1. it could be just a case of the idle position or it sounds like it running a bit lean in the air/fuel mixture
