  1. OBD2 will reset after a certain amount of drive cycles...IF the problem has been fixed.

Oil changes do not set the CE light off.

    Fix whatever is wrong!

  2. it should have reset its self take it and have someone scan the computer and see if the sending unit has went bad on it,normally you dont have to do anything but drive those a few miles and the light will go off,if it hasnt went off in that many miles something is wrong,i own one and it goes off as soon as i start the engine after changing the oil, good luck.

  3. Generally on modern cars, when you have a light that warns you about the oil change, you have to reset it yourself, In your user's manual it says how to do it, usually by pressing 3 times on the gas with the ignition on but with the engine not running.  Now if you are talking about the "Check Engine" light, it may be a tune up problem other than the oil change itself.  You can try to reset it by disconnecting the battery and leaving it off for about 10 minutes. That will reset the computer. However, if your problem persists the light will come back on. You can take it to an autoparts store and have them scan the computer. They can tell you what the problem is more specifically.

  4. Take to a parts store and they can do an engine scan on it and they can tell you what's wrong with the engine they can also clear the trouble code

  5. tighten your gas cap
