I have a 2005 impala. I recently received an oil change at a local jiffy lube a technician discovered that there was a power steering fluid leak on my alternator and other parts inside my engine. My car is still under warranty and I took it to the chevy dealership where I bought my car. They kept my car for about 1 1/2 days. They told me they washed the engine and drove it around and they couldn't find the problem, and now 2 months later the leak is back. I don't want to get charged another $40 diagnostic fee, what do i do?

  1. Hopefully, if you have a receipt for your last diagnostic test, then you can approach them again and see what they will do for you. You are still under warranty.

  2. if jiffy lube over spilled the power steering fluid on the previous service it will over spill  then it will land on the belt and sling everywhere. keep an eye on the fluid level.
