2005 impala single or double din???

Question

I have a 2005 impala and i want to buy a double din cd player/dvd. Can those fit in an impala? I have a single deck cd player, but i think a double din can still go. here is a picture of my current single din.

anythign 02 or newer if i recall gm. it is a double din

Double din fits.  Should look nice with a double-din unit.
