2006 Honda Accord or 2006 Nissan Altima???

The Nissan Altima seems like a better choice. It looks better, and I myself prefer Nissan over Honda, due to design. The fuel economy for both is similar, but the Accord looks much duller than the Altima.

Nissan Altima.

I don't know about where you live, it maybe different for you, but in general, Honda repair parts are more expensive than Nissan's.

If you want for yourself, I mean not for a family, I suggest the Nissan, its more of a sporty look. The speedometer lights in orange and red for the Altima(similar to those expensive sport cars you see), while white and red pointers for Accord. Also the way the dashboard in the Altima stands out adds to the sporty look.

The Accord is more into a family car, I also think its more spacious in the inside (I drove the two cars), not sure though. Refer to the manuals of both if you're interested.

From driving both, I feel that the Accord is more stable on the ground and the engine sound gives you a great feeling when driving it, I didn't feel that with the Altima. (However the new generation models of Altima are great that is 2007 onwards).

If you want it as a a family car, you may find something inconvient in the Accord, it does not have an air conditiong outlet for the rear seats, while the Altima does.

The Altima's interior is a lot nicer than the Accrod's. You have these Aluminium-like panels on the steering wheel and doors, and with a beige interior looks really nice.

Both have their pros and cons but I go for the Altima.
