2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ, what would you pay?

Is a 2007 Chevy Avalanche LTZ, loaded completely, with 34,988 miles, a good deal, or can I get it cheaper? They seem to be stuck on the 34k, well actually they wanted to sell it for 36k until I found the listing on ebay cheaper. I havent gone back in yet to renegotiate, they seem friendly, I have driven it twice, and this is as far as we've gotten. Anyone work with car dealerships, advice would be great before I go in there again. (Also, our economy is not as bad as everywhere else. Our city is booming with the gas/oil field, that my husband works in, if that factors in at all.)

  1. buck fify.

  2. About 33K. And don't listen to anyone about not buying an suv. It's a great buy.

  3. y out Driverside. It's still in beta but for each model it has cost of ownership, quality ratings, lists of similar cars, technical specs and links to other sites that will help you out with more data. Also the pricing data by mileage will help you see how good the deal is.

  4. they probably own that car for ALOT more than they should right now and $34k is probably under what they own it for, they just want to get rid of it, even at a loss. Even still i wouldnt want to pay more than $31,000 or so for that car, like someone else said the new ones are insanely cheap right now. You should be able to find a used one for cheaper than that, and if you cant ask one of the dealers if they bought you a used one at a GMAC factory auction if you could get the same yr and miles for cheaper.

  5. First of all do not buy used at all right now.  You can get a new one for just as good of a deal.  They have super deals from GM right now.  All kinds of rebates and financing options.  Go to your local Chevy dealer and check them out.
