  1. The KIA. You cannot beat the warranty. The cars run great. Mine has over 160,000 miles and I have not had to do anything to it other than change the oil!!!

  2. I assume you mean the Aveo. But unfortunately neither car is a good car. Both are built in Korea. Daewoo makes the Aveo for Chevy. If the 1st person is correct then the Kia is a little better, but only marginally. Both cars will in the long run not be worth anything as they get older. Most Korean cars have poor resale values & questionable reliability. Many a web site will tell you that. Daewoo sold cars in the U.S. for 4 years & then abruptly pulled out. And with good reason. They consistantly received bad reviews & had the worst reliability of any car maker during that 4 year period. Kia slaps a huge warranty on their cars and makes you adhere to a strict schedule of preventive maintenance. Any deviation voids that warranty & your stuck with an expensive repair bill.

My advice that I have put on here many times is spend a little more on a good car like Nissan, Mazda, or Honda and it will serve you far better than those two cars you mentioned. A better bargain sometimes costs just a little more for a car that won't nickle & dime you to death later on. G'day!
