2007 Navigator Factory Head Unit?

Friend of mine has an 07' Navigator. I've done some google searches, and at this point I give up.

He wants to throw some subs and an amp in, but wants to keep the factory head unit.

I need to know if it comes factory with pre-outs, or where to get an interface for the factory head unit so this can be done.

Hey there,

Your first question, the answer is no. It does not come with pre-outs. You need whats called a line-output converter. You can pick one up at Best Buy for $25.00. Basically it has speaker wire on one end and rca's on the other. Tap the speaker wires into your factory wiring and plug up the rca's. Good luck!
