Just got this awesome machine but this is the first one I have every had. Anything that you can pass on about jet ski's would be great!

Like, if we are out tubing where do you put the tube when you are coming back in to shore? Dumb, I know. Want to be prepared.

Thanks!

  1. As far as the tube goes, just shorten the rope and tow it behind.  Jetskiing is like any sport, there are a thousand little things that you need to know for fun, and safety.  The best advice I can give you is to go to wherever you're planning to ride, ( Lake, Beach, whereever) and find the local jetskiing community, and introduce yourself.  Jetskkers by and large are great folks with a passion for the sport.  They'll be happy to answer any questions, show off their skis, admire yours, and help you get started.  go to WWW.AWA.com, and look for clubs in your area.

Finally, safety.  I don't know if you have any boating experience, but take time to lookat the rules and regs for your area.  You have a machine there that will do 60= miles an hour, has no brakes, and only steers when you're on the throttle.  Oh and by the way, you're surounded by vessels that have the same limitations, are usually much bigger than you, and poor visibility to the front.  Did I mention that there aren't any lanes out there?  The biggest mistake I see new riders make is to just hop on. take off, and not even look around.

    Good Riding!!
