2007 Yamaha VX Deluxe will not start!!! HELP!!?

So i havent used my jet ski for about 6 months or so and now that i tried to turn it on it will try to start but doesnt, could this be a battery isuue...what can i do to start it up again... it has fuel so i dont know what the problem can be, if it is the battery can i jump start it with jumper cables connected to a car or should i take it to autozone??? please help!! much appreciated!!
