  1. check to make sure the fuel filter is in place correctly.............

  2. i would tow it to a shop so they can re-prime the system so it will start good luck

  3. omg!  your truck does not have a pump, it is a suction, and unless you want 5000 to 35000 psi of diesel fuel hitting you in the face, do not even mess with your injectors.

Did you pump up the primer bulb on the top of the filter assembly?  You have to keep at it until it gets hard.  If it never gets hard, then you have a piece of contamination in the primer that is preventing it from working correctly, and it will be necessary to take it to a certified GM Durmax tech.

once again, i cannot stress enough that no matter what these people are telling you, do not...do not...do not  touch those injectors or fuel lines, or you will be sorry.  There is a primer bulb.

  4. OK Common Mistake ;). Was the Filter full of clean Fuel when you Reinstalled it? (Vapor Lock). Remove Filter and Fill it, "LOOSEN" Fuel Lines at Injectors (This will take two people!), Crank the Engine, as Fuel Starts to come out at the Fittings Re-torque the Lines. "Running Good Again.

  5. Not to up on chevy> But my dodge just open turn key on till filter fills>close filter turn key on till pump stops then start>It should self bleed>Sounds like you left air in the filter>

  6. When you replaced the filter did you fill the filter up with diesel, if not pull it back off and fill it with diesel, on top of the filter cap, you should see a s***w that you need to unscrew (that's so you can bleed the air out of the filter)with the s***w out spin the motor over until you get all the air out .(when filter is fill of diesel)Now that you have the air out , put the s***w back into the cap. Try to start your truck -up afew time's.If it still done start , you will need to bleed it at a couple injectors.( Don't frake out on me now.) I'm sure you have a V-8 in that 2500 HD, so there's going to be 4 injectors on each side of the motor(total of 8) I think it will be easier to bleed them from the drivers side.of the motor. I'm pretty sure your going to need a 15/16 or a 1 ''wrench to loosen them -up. All you need to do is loosen a couple of those line's ,then spin the motor over until you start getting fuel from them ,once the fuel starts to come out ,stop spinning the motor and tighten them back -up (You may have to repeat this over several time before you get all the air out of the line's )  Just take your time and you will be up and running soon.  You just got air in the line;s when you changed the filter.

  7. Check to make sure that the filter is on the correct way depending on the type of filter setup some of them you have to fill the filter with diesel fuel before installing. Fuel will only flow in one direction through the filter. If that is OK that then try priming the truck a few times. Meaning turn the ignition forward and listen to hear the fuel pump but don't crank the engine over. Good luck.

  8. you need to bled all the air from the fuel system.
