Ok, so this dealership is selling a 07 tahoe for $19,900 that is not limited, meaning it doesn't have the leather seats and all that good stuff, but either way it still looks nice. The truck already has 40k miles on it. Even though its a lot of mile for an 07 the truck runs like new and has never ben damaged in any way. Is it possible to get it for $17,000 with a down payment of say $10,000-12,000. Im still doing research that way i wont get ripped off.

  1. OK is it an LS, LT1, LT2,LT3, Z71, or an LTZ version, 4x4 or 2x4, 3rd row seating or 2nd row only? new base pricing for an ls 2x4 was around $29K, so its a year old, with some miles, the mileage factor could be due to it being released and sold in September of 2006, in that case it would be 2 yrs old with  average mileage. Tell them you want to finance the difference out the door, so if its 19,900, and you put 12000 down, tell them 7900 out the door. Tax, title, and fees included. I would say if that is the advertised cost then that is pretty close to what they have in it.

  2. Sounds like a good deal, but WHATEVER you decide MAKE SURE TO GET AN EXTENDED WARRANTY.

  3. If you put down that much money I would start with a number around $15,800 and see what they say. If you are buying from a dealership they are not moving many SUV's now so you might get a tremendous break.

  4. its a good deal i believe its enough money for a down payment probably your monthly bills will get lower good luck with the gas milage though =]

  5. 20 grand is a good price.  Dealerships are currently happy to unload gas guzzlers.
