2008 AP Scores/Grades/Results?

Question

So it's the beginning of July, and I wanted to know if anyone had received their AP scores in the mail yet. If you have, where are you? (I'm in Florida)

I'm so anxious-- I took 4 (Chemistry, Psychology, AB Calculus, Lit). I'm also unwilling to pay $8 to call in. Personally, Collegeboard has put me through enough this last year.

I was talking to a friend that lived in California, and he received his results in the mail yesterday.

It seems like most people didn't get them yet, however, a fellow answerer above me who also lives in California got theirs yesterday too. I'm thinking they might send them by region, perhaps, but they're already on the way... oh god... *faints*.

I took AP US History and AP Environmental Science sophomore year. Wish me luck! And good luck to you! =]

I kno whatcha mean. I only took one and im dying to know what I got. I took AP Wrold History.

But I live in CT and last year they came June 10th. So you're probably going to get your scores before mee.

They have already sent  the grades on the first week of July. Depending on where you live might help youget your grade faster

if you live next to New Jersey  which is where their office is, you will get it probably in the 2nd or 3rd week.. I live in ca

= so i might get mine later in late 3rd week

its not best to  call them this week because if you do , you might see your grade report next day in the mail. i am a sophomore this year .. last year i was a freshman and took ap biology it was fun i know i will do well by God's grace

i also broke my school's record being the first freshman in school to tkae that exam

I live in CA, and I got my scores yesterday... Florida is like, the other side, so I don't know when you'd get them.. SORRY! but GOOD LUCK! =)

I'm in Florida too, and havn't got mine yet. I took AP World last year and got a 4. I was pretty happy.

This year is a completly different story. I dont feel remotely confident on any of them. I took 6 this year, I'll be lucky if i pass 3 of the 6

I got mine. I got a 3 on AP Euro. I'm not sure if that's good news or bad news since it's my first AP.

I'm in Florida too and will be suprised if I receive them before the 14th. They said the 2nd or 3rd week which is killing me. I took Biology, Computer Programming A, English Lang., and American History. I wish I could've convinced my parents to pay the $8 but its pointless now since I will know in about a week.

Talk about it! I took four tests as well (Lit, AB Calculus, Statistics, Government) and since I didn't take a Government class per se the suspense is killing me! I didn't even review for it, but it seemed so easy! In short, I don't have an inkling of my score and it seems as if they postpone this every year.

I didn't receive my AP score yet either and it's driving me INSANE!!! I think college board has caused many of us high school students unnecssary stress! I only took one AP exam this year (Music Theory) - I'm only a sophmore. I am really worried about my score though ... and the suspense of not knowing my grade is killing me =/

i am anxious to. i hope i get the letter sometime this weekend. i am hoping either tomorrow or the day after...

sighs. i am so anxious i hope to get either 4s or 5s on them so i can get credit. most important is a 5 in psych, 4 in the rest. heheh.

I took 7 (Chemistry, Calc BC, Eng Lit, Microecon, Macroecon, US govt, Psychology)...

and I haven't gotten them yet either..but hopefully this week!

I was extremely anxious about my score(s) also. Personally, I think it is worth the 8 dollars to go ahead and give them a call. I did it and couldn't be happier about it. I mean, it's only 8 dollars. Obviously, it is indeed a rip off and should be free (or available online), but it's not worth getting so stressed out about...especially during the summer.

By the way...how was the Chemistry AP test? I'm taking it next year and I'm not sure whether it's supposed to be really hard or fairly easy?

I live in Florida, too, and I also took 4 AP tests. very similar to yours, in fact (Chemistry, Calculus AB, Psychology, and English Language). I haven't received the scores in the mail yet, but I did end up calling becuase i couldn't take it anymore.

Errg. Still no AP grades. It's killing me, and I leave tomorrow night for a 5 day trip. If they don't come in the mail tomorrow I might cry! I live in WI, and if they are sending them by region and Cali JUST got theirs, I might as well just stop hoping, right?

I live in IL and I took AP Euro and have yet to recieve my score.   I refuse to call in though, I think the fee to even take the test was absurd let alone 8 more dollars.

College Board is getting even more ridiculous. I hadn't received my scores and I refuse to pay the $8 scam to get them. When I went to my new student conference this week, I checked with them and surprisingly, my college had received my scores when I hadn't, and I just got a printout from them. Good thing I didn't pay the money to get my scores out from held hostage - my Stat test has not even been graded yet and that will take 3 more weeks. Yikes!

I am freaking out here in Minnesota. I leave on the 13th for Australia for ten days, and I am certain then I won't be receiving them before then. I only took three (AP Government, AP English Literature, and AP Geography). I am confident on the first two, and I will get a three on third if I am lucky, but I don't have the eight dollars to shove out to know my scores. I guess I will have to wait till I get back.

I got mine on the 12th last year if that helps.

Peace of mind is something priceless to us all. Why not just pay the eight U.S. dollars for it? I dislike the way Collegeboard seemingly rips us all off on the exams and various services but eight dollars for the knowledge that I got seven 5s and one 4 is worth it.

Do it. Whatever problem you can solve with a little money isn't worth being hot and bothered about.

I called the 800 number on College Board and a kind gentleman explained that they would be mailed around the middle of the month.

VERY IMPORTANT: if you do decide to pay the 8$ and call "grade by phone", make sure to not hang up after hearing the first grade: there are 2 options after you hear the grade: '1' to hear it again, '9' to move on to the next one. The main menu does not warn of this and I hung up too soon figuring that only one grade was available:-( Cost me another $8

The college board derives a sick pleasure from making high school students across the country suffer from it's monopoly on college entrance exams.  I have yet to get my score either, but they did say the second or third week in July.  Just remember, the college board is interested only in your money.  They put me through h**l this past year too.  (They lost my first SAT scores for two months before they found and reported them at long last)

yea this was my sophmore year && i took AP bio.. && im freakin out! i want to know asap! i havent gotten them yet either && ive totally started on preparing for AP chem already! its like can i please get the results before i take the chem? grrrr.....  =]
