2008 Accord Transmission?

Why is the V6 equipped with a stupid 5 speed auto? It should have a six speed. It makes the car's acceleration pretty sluggish compared to other cars with the same horsepower, 7 seconds, while the Camry's is about 6.5 and the new Mazda6 is 6.3. Does anyone other than me share the same complaint about it? They even gave it more horsepower for '09 and still the same transmission! I love Hondas, but I hate the new Accord.

the accord v6 coupe comes with a manual and does 0-60 in 5.9. i dont know why they didnt stick it in the 4 door like they did in 06-07 though.

most people don't race faimly cars. thats what sports cars are for. you can get a 6sp tranny but you have to shift it.
