get a 1000 or a Busa... go big.. you'll get tired of small bike in a week.

i got a gsxr 07 and it was my first bike i think its a good stater bike! just make sure you put frame sliders just in case you drop it the damage wont be so bad!!!!

No, not for a starter. I ws going to get one too, but EVERYBODY told me not for a started. there is no need. just get like an R1

if its your very first bike ever..i think you should go with a 600 because u don't want to much power if u can't handle it..

Not a bad bike you cant go wrong with a suzuki.  As a starter bike i wouldn't go new though. I bought a brand new gixxer 1000  last year as a first bike and put it down twice. Couple thousand in plastic damage. Thankfully they weren't high speed wrecks. But no matter what bike you choose, like you have been told once. Get frame slider. They are one of the best investments you can buy. And as previously mentioned, you'll get tired of the 600 within in a couple month's time.
