hey everyone, i took my msf course on a 500 cc Buell blast, but am on a tight budget and going to school soon (college) and am considering the new improved 08 ninja 250. How large is it compared to the blast and the ninja 500? any other information on the bike would be great, im looking at getting one in a week :D :D.

  1. It's a little smaller than the blast (but about a million times better imo).  If you are on a tight budget and looking for good gas mileage and a good time you will not regret the new ninja.

  2. GET THE Ninja and wut the dude sed above me lol ITS JAPANESE VERY RELIABLE GOOD gas etc

  3. well i'll tell u that if u want a great beginner bike that u can use on the freeway, it's certainly not the 250!! if u want to get something low-priced, try out the 07 ninja 650r it's beautiful and it works great!:)

  4. it will be a little smaller, like what was said but considering it is still a tuned sport bike, you will get a more throttle response in the low and mid range rpms.

it also will get a rated 70 mph, that of course will vary from bike to bike, but not by much, and dont be fooled by its engine size, it still has a powerful, 6-speed Four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC, parallel twin that will deliver when you need it to and you will easily cruise over highway speeds,

although if you get one, i would upgrade the exhaust so it sounds a little more heavy, or manly, or what have you but the 250 will sound a little like a go-cart

  5. they are excellent from wat i've heard
