  1. Cliff Lee. K-Rod's very close 2nd choice, but Lee is doing very well on a team that really sucks. K-Rod's team is doing well, so he gets more chances to play well, especially since he's a closer.

  2. dude if k-rod breaks the record he's got that locked down, and he only needs 11 more to tie and 12 to break it. so hands down k-rod.

  3. cliff lee is going to win

  4. Cliff Lee (55.4 VORP) or Roy Halladay (51.2 VORP) are both deserving.  My guess is that it will be Lee.  He has a good story and has dominated this year even with a high BABIP (.303) compared to Halladay's (.285).

  5. I'd say Cliff lee.

  6. I don't see halladay getting one with a losing toronto.  In my opinion it's between Lee and Mussina.  If the yankees make the playoffs, definitely Mussina because of h\is age and importance to the team.  Otherwise, Lee on lock.

  7. cliff lee or k-rod if he breaks the save record

  8. I think it has to go to Francisco Rodriguez because even though Cliff Lee has pitched great, his team isn't even close to the playoffs. Nobody else has been very good as a starting pitcher so we might as well give it to a guy who's teams in first place and is going to have more saves in a season than anyone. Gange won it a few years ago so it wouldn't be such a stretch to give it to a RP.

  9. Cliff Lee hands down

  10. I'd like to see Roy Halladay win, but it'll probably be Cliff Lee because he's had an amazing winning percentage this year. And with 16 wins, he's accounted for almost 1/3 of Clevelands wins this year.

  11. Halladay is in a losingteam, mussina needs help from the team....Krod has the advantage of playing almost evry game but cliff lee has the dominant stuff....Lee will take it...k-rod second
