2008: Most Destructive Tornado Season Ever?

I am not blaming this on global warming or anything, but do you think that 2008 will be the year of the tornado?

The past few months, all I have seen every week in the news is a new tornado coming down from the clouds and destroying stuff and taking a few lives.

Do you think this will be the most destructive season ever?

I'd doubt it, unless we have another day or two like April 3-4 of 1974 or May 9-10 of 2003.

The April 3rd 1974 outbreak had more F-5s in one day than we've had in the last several years.

nope. april started off bad, but has gotten incredibly calm as far as tornados go. (at least in texas)

A few lives, 98 so far this year.I don't think it is global warming either.Think there were 66 this weekend.WOW
