Has anybody had any problems with their brand new 350Z's leaking water when it goes thru a car wash or even rain? I took it to the dealership which could not re-create the problem? They actually told me it was normal to leak a little bit! Does this make sense to anyone?

  1. it a  look like hole in the top. that happen to me and i use ducktape aka pigeontape. They unleak

    USE LE THE DUCKTAPE

  2.   What a piece of sh^t.  That's too funny  If I had paid that much for one of those and they told me that. I would have to slap someone. Normal to leak that's funny I'm sure they disclosed that with you at the time of the purchase.

Warning may need duct tape to keep from leaking!!!

  3. DO NOT i mean Do Not "car wash" your convertable caustic cleaners and what the car wash uses for soap can damage your top. Just gently rinse the water and  mequires carwash soap off with out even a spray nozzel. Convertable tops just keep normal rail out and somewhat dry at speed. I use silicone spray lubricant on all the rubber parts and they seal ok here in Texas. water test from your garden hose a stream that curves away from the hose 30" that strength water flow is what nissan wants technicians to use checking for leaks. Operate your roof once a week to keep the motors and bows functioning properly. And if in north texas i can get it to seal so rain does not get in.

  4. fell bad for you ~.~

    is hard to fix

  5. Trade it in and get a hard top

  6. take it to a different dealer.  nissan has had some issues with dealership satisfaction over the last two decades, rating only higher than VW during that span.

  7. its NOT ok to leak of course, its a brand new car and shouldnt have such a problem.
