2008 Olympic Women's Gymnastics Finals - Prayer Request?

I really wanted Shawn Johnson to win the gold during the floor exercise finals in Beijing. She really deserves a gold medal I believe. Tomorrow will be her last chance on balance beam at these Olympics.

For those who want Shawn to win the gold medal during the balance beam finals tomorrow, can you please say a short prayer for her?

were all praying for her. i love shawn and i really think she should get just one gold. yesterday on the floor was just a stomach punch.

What if God is a Nastia fan?  FWIW, is it really good practice as a Christian or Catholic to hope that someone else does worse than Shawn in the competition?  Frankly, I think prayers should be sent more to injured athletes (like Janos Baranyai) or their relatives (like the Bachman family) instead of selfishly wanting Shawn Johnson to win a gold medal.

Absolutely i will pray for her, its said that the more people who pray the stronger the prayer becomes. And Im not sure if you know this but im just making sure you dont miss it, Shawn will actualy compete today/tonight but it will air on tuesday at primetime.
