2008 WIMBLEDON: what if ZHENG JIE goes on to WIN?

I know it will be near-miracle

Zheng plays in women's singles event only because of a wild-card invitation (she is better known partnering Yan Zi in doubles)

And now she has become the first wild-card woman player to have gone to the semifinals in Wimbledon history

My question is not her chance of going to the final or even become the champions

but rather

HOW WILL A ZHENG WIN BOOST THE CHINESE SPORTING?

pls star if interesting

thanks

  1. I hope she does, i like her a lot and really think she could put out Serena !!! Its boring another william`s sister taking the title, i want an outsider :)!

  2. i hope she does not win

  3. It would be, but she already lost to Serena Williams today. Disappointing after she pulled one of the greatest upsets against Ana Ivanovic.

  4. I agree with Vamos Rafa....................

she deserves to win the title..............and hopefully she will........I am rooting for her.........moreover what ever prize money she is gonna get will be donated to the Earth Quake relief........so best of luck to Zheng

  5. like in all sports once they get a sniff they will try and conquer all...
