2008 beijing closing ceremonies?

ok, what TIME will the 08 beijing closing ceremony be seen LIVE on tv in MAINE, and what channel? i've been looking all over the place and i can't find it! plzzzzzzzzzzzz helps! soon!

The closing ceremony is scheduled to start at 8pm China Standard Time (GMT+8) on Sunday, August 24. which means Sunday at 8am Eastern. NBC, as usual, will NOT show the ceremony live. Instead they will show the recording at their pathetic primetime coverage on Sunday evening (that way they can save money by not buying live broadcast rights, and also sell you the DVD later).

So your only options are: 1) since you live in Maine, you might be able to catch Canada's CBC broadcast, or 2) watch one of the many unofficial internet broadcasts (I'll leave you that as a homework).

PS: right now I'm watching LIVE the volleyball final, while NBC is showing... javelin?

I think its 2:30 Eastern

and 11:30 Western

Its going to be on NBC

Beijing Closing Ceremony will be on August 24, 2008 (Sunday), NBC Olympic coverage starts at 10pm Eastern but they are showing volleyball first so the actual Closing ceremony will not start until 45 minutes to hour later.
