  1. I would say that this is the best final I have ever seen if it were not for the rain delays.  Truth be told, Nadal had the first two sets and was going to win the third set if he didn't let up his 40-love lead in the fifth game with the score 4-4.

Truth be told, this is the best final i have seen in my generation.

  2. it would be hard to beat it

  3. yes i loved it it was suspensful because federer cam back but lost in the 5th and final set :(

  4. probaly the best final ever

  5. Nope, 1980 when Borg beat McInroe.  1–6, 7–5, 6–3, 6–7(16-18), 8–6.  More tension in that 4th set than I have ever seen!

  6. Nah. If Roger should have won 1 of the 2 first sets, it would have been more intense.

  7. nadal won go nadal

  8. YEAh awesome match even though i was asleep hahaha! Still! Sux fed lost but good on nadal for winning!

  9. I recon the best but i really wanted federer to win haha....... it went for so long but i watched most of it lol

  10. I think so. All tennis commentators say so and tennis legends like John McEnroe agree that it was,and that's sayin' something considering he was part of an epic with Borg in 1984, a match that was considered the greatest final at Wimbie up until Sunday.

  11. h**l YEAH!

talk about entertaining, i never doubted Nadal for a second.

    Go RAFA!!!!

  12. yes it wasa great match. the game finished about 6:20 am here in melbourne and i stayed up and watched it all.

    go rafa!!!!!!!!!!!!

he will win the US open this year.

  13. It's by far the best match I've ever seen in my 21 years on earth. Though my parents say the best match was Borg versus Mcenroe in 1980, but hey I wasn't alive back then,LOL. For me Wimbledon 08', Fed versus Rafa best match I've ever seen. They both deserved the trophy because they both threw everything they had into the match, but in the end Rafa was the winner and I was so happy for him.

  14. hi........

This is an interesting question. *STAR*

Yes i found it very exciting and interesting. It was very close, which made it tense.. but in the end it was great that Nadal won his first Wimbledon- he deserved it. I hope to see Nadal contiuing to dominate not only clay but grass also..

    thanks

  15. For this generation it was the best tennis match. Don't know about all of time cause I can't speak about other years, such as the 80s and the 90s.

But it was, made even sweeter by the fact Nadal won.

  16. yes I agree, it was an amazing match, well played by both!
