2008 nissan alttima 2.5s or 2009 corolla s which one is a better buy?

Also keep in mind fuel economy price to fill up tank how far you go also repairs quality. I have owned a 05 altima with no complaints now i own a toyota fj with little complaints but price to fill up is killing me.

well the altima is funner to drive since it has more hp but the corolla would give u better gas mileage, so its your choice. id go with the altima its a bigger car, it gets 23 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the freeway and the corolla gets 26mpg in the city and 35 mpg on the freeway

I was seriously looking into purchasing an Altima Coupe but then I decided on the 2009 Corolla S.  I chose the corolla because of the great gas mileage and the updated look of the Corolla.  It is also not as expensive as the Altima.  

I feel that the corolla is the better buy.

A relative of mine has an altima with the 4 cylinder. It's very quick and she is getting 31MPG in town to town driving. I say go for the altima. It's "a lot more of a car" than the corolla IMO. Plus you can't beat Nissan quality and reliability.

Toyota Corolla is the best that you can buy because of the 35 mpg, it require less maintenance, it is all the way you taken car of your car.  I also like Nissan Altima also, but the resale vaule is not that great nor the MPG that is if compare to Toyota Corolla.  If I have to pick, I would go with 2009 Toyota Corolla because of the economy now a day.
