2008 toyota prius lease price?

How much would it cost to lease a new 2008 Base Toyota Prius for 36 months? ANy buyer experience? Thanks!

A lot of people don't know this, but all of the Hybrid Cars have about 8 batteries. Like all other normal cars, after a certain amount of years you need to replace the battery. However, with these, you need to replace all of them totaling anywhere between $2,000 and $3,000. They are expensive to lease...I think about $400 a month.

In my opinion, if you are trying to save money in gas. Check out the Toyota Yaris...the 2 door looks funky, but the sedan looks better. There are more fuel efficient cars out there that won't cost too much for you!

I own a Prius, and it has ONE hybrid battery pack, which is covered by an 8-year / 100,000-mile warranty.  10 years / 150,000 miles in states with California-standard emissions laws.  If it fails before then, replacement cost is FREE.

With all of the people giving bad information around here like that one above with the stupid battery fiction, Yahoo Answers is probably THE worst place to ask about hybrids.

You might want to pick the brains of Prius owners instead for first-hand information:  http://www.priuschat.com .

There are a few folks there who leased too.  You might want to ask them what the terms are.

Why Lease?

Finance...

think outside the box finance a preowned pruis, a new prius still gets the same mileage as a newer one, but costs thousands less.

and if you want to upgrade sell it or trade it in for a newer one.

Makes more sense... :)



Leasing is like renting whats the point?  the car isn't even yours when you are done.

and you can get a non base model for the same price if you get a used one.  besides as soon as you take a car off the lot new it looses value, cars don't gain value.
