Hands Down the Honda CBR. Yamaha are good bikes but when it comes to performance, reliability and superior engineering the 2008 Honda CBR1000 comes in First Place. The 08 CBR is the number one rated bike by the pros. yamaha, kawasaki and suzuki couldnt even come close to its success. It beat all bikes in performance, handling, power, technology, in short it placed first in like 9 out 10 tests. So have no doubts and go for the 2008 CBR its a very easy choice if your looking for an outstanding bike by anyone standards.

If you are trick rider go with the CBR, R1's do not like long wheelies. If you ride normally, they are both great bikes.
