2009 Dodge Challenger vs 2009 Chevy Camaro?

Because there has been no road tests yet of a production Camaro, this question is impossible to answer.

The Camaro will be smaller and lighter, look more modern, and I believe will be available with a stick right out of the gate (the lack of a stick in the current Challenger would be a show stopper for me). These are all good things in my opinion - but I wouldn't say for sure the Camaro is better until I know how it drives.

Well you cannot do a proper comparison right now because the slowmaro is not out yet, but I would have to say the Challenger is better.  Mopar or nocar.

Neither dodge always has power steering problems. Chevy makes slow engines, i mean come on! chevy took the v8 from the pontiac bonnevile and is changeing its intake, and calling it new. well honestly i'd go for a mustang, but wait till the 09 model is released, ford has annouced they will bring back there notorious 5.0, and a sharper redesign. with models like the mach 1, and the boss 302 returning, why buy a camaro z28, or a dodge challenger, when ford's mustang has been a solid car since 1964. Camaros and challangers died. In 02 chevy discontinued the camaro due to lack of sales, and to many RECALLS!. dodge stopped making the challanger, to continue making its charger, and dart. as for the mustang it not only has been americas favorite muscle car, but it also has had 45 uninterupted years. now you be the judge

Camaro bro, new Dodge's suck. I love old Dodges/ Mopar but the new ones are bad. My friend bought a 08 Charger R/T and hes already had to replace his serpentine belt twice and has had to put 800 dollars in it and hes only had it like 4 months. The new Camaros should be your best go.
