  1. Don't do that...putting lights up will get you labeled as a "ricer".  Especially on a FF 2009 Corolla.

For your car, I'm not familiar with the engine.  Any corolla after 1986 I have no interest in.  I suppose though, that you can go turbo.  Look for aftermarket parts, such as a turbocharger.  This might force you though to change the internals, such as pistons and rods.  This may create a higher compression ratio.  You may have to use premium gas.  You'll have to use synthetic oil. You may need to change the fuel pump.  You'll obviously need a new exhaust system.  You can also maybe have your ECU flashed...These are the things you'll need to do if you want major speed.  It may just be cheaper to buy a slightly faster car, like a used RX-8.

Just do your research, I'm sure there are people dedicated to the Corolla.

  2. honestly if you don't care about the warranty do whatever you like

dealerships are stricter so if you are planning to mess with anything electrical even as little as changing to colored bulbs it will void warranty

unless you are willing to spend alot to have the dealership install it for you

  3. dont change your lights to "blue" that is tacky , its not a BMW, ricer
