2009 mazda6 first car?

should i get the 2009 mazda6 as my first car. i have to find a way to convince my parents. what are the safety ratings. does it have good mpg? convince me and my parents and ill give u best answer AND 5 star rating. any answers are accepted!!

mazda 6 is not good is pricey too and...ugly(2009)

MPG really depends on if you get the 4 or 6 cylinder. I have an 04 4-cylinder and I get great mileage. I drove from Buffalo, NY to Burlington, VT (about 450 miles) on less than a tank.

It is not out yet. No info about it is out yet except for the engines it will use.

It will have a 2.5L 4 cylinder with around 170HP and a 3.7L V6 with around 265HP.

I am sure safety ratings will be 4/5 or 5/5 stars. They always are for cars this size.

Gas mileage should be 31mpg highway for the 4 cylinder and 27mpg highway for the V6.

It is a great car. Reliable and handles very good. Mazda's have always been the best handling cars in their class, but unfortunately, the new NIssan Altima handles a little bit better according to edmunds.com/insideline
