2009 snowboards?

Question

when to all the new boards come out? I tried out a Rossy board with the new edge concept and looooooved it. i'n riding again until i have a new board. But i want to see what burton, ride, and libtec have to offer for '09.

also, any suggestions on a brand that doesn't break after 1/2 a season like forums do?(cliff drops, not a park break)

What you can do is look for the Future Snowboard anual good wood board test. Oh wait i forgot there is no more furture snowboard. Its the Transworld Snowboarding Goodwood board test that you want to check out. It generally comes out near the beginning of the season.

  eh but abotu breaking,, u may choose them wether they are ok for your style or not, u cant do what ever u want with all of them thats why they break

You will see most new boards in September to October.  Lib tech has actually started selling the 2009 models back in may at select shops.  The new seasons catalogs should come out in august or September.  Look at the warranties that snowboard companies offer.  If you buy new and break a board before the warranty period is over(usually one year from date of purchase) you can take it back to a shop and have it replaced for a small shipping fee.  Some companies make very durable boards like neversummer and offer a three year warranty.  However, the way in which you ride you're board makes a big difference too.  I used to break a lot of boards, but then I started to land properly flat based with even pressure on both feet and have been able to keep my boards much longer without cracking just outside of the bindings.  You're forums should be good for a replacement after breaking within 1/2 year.
