  1. Just pretend you're being chased by something and run really fast...haha It's like when I do long jump I pretend I'm jumping over ravine or something...it really works .....lol probably not the answer you were looking for but it's fun to do :)

  2. Guys that have run 21-low have told me that they run the first 100m at about 85% and then with about 120 to go, they give it everything they've got all the way through the finish and don't slow down until after they've crossed.

  3. The 200 is  a sprint, you run at top speed.

Come out of the blocks just like you are running the 100.

Once you get to speed relax, do not try to run faster.

When you come off the curve stand up tall, keep your arms moving.

Think about relaxing so you can maintain your speed without straining to run faster.

If you develop your skill you can run the second 100 faster than the first 100 since  you have a flying start to the second 100.

  4. I personally think the 200m is a pretty tough race, as there are not many people that can hold their sprint for that long, and i guess its all about having a good start, but the way i do it is differently as when i run, i tend to accelrate  the longer the distance, so im more of a 200m, 400m type and occasionally the 100m, so what im saying is that when i run the 200m i dont get a very good start( but its pretty good but not the best) but in the end theres a wide gap between me and the competitor.i am going to be a freshman this summer, and i still suck at it, i run a 27 , but i guess things will turn up
