Some experts say that this year’s rookies are somewhat weak if you compare them with the rookies of the past few days. There is little doubt that John Wall is the favourite for the award, experts say that players returning are more the focus of this article. Though some of them are younger than the rookies of the season, these players will be given heavy minutes of the game and are expected to have excellent break out seasons. Another fact about all these players is the fact that all of these players are below the age of 23.
The first in the list is Washington Wizards centre, Javale McGee. McGee didn’t have a successful season when it comes to numbers last year. Still this player undoubtedly has loads of talent and is one of the best in the business. His talents were respected and led him to being invited to be a part of the US national team. This extravagant player has a lot of potential that can lead him to the top and be regarded among the best. With another young and talented, John Wall, alongside him, experts expect him to pull off good, productive minutes. Experts are expecting McGee to improve in terms of points scoring and rebounding abilities. Analysts have projected statistics that show he will have 14 points per game and 9 rebounds per game.
Next in the line of players, who are expected to have a breakout season is, Anthony Randolph, forward of the New York Knicks. When this extravagant player was drafted in 2007 with the talent that he possessed, many thought of him as a future top ten player of the league. Currently 21 years old, Anthony has the perfect physical attributes that are also unique. Experts say that the New York Knicks should consider themselves lucky as he became a part of them when he was young. At the moment, he is only 21 years of age, and already experts expect him to benefit the Knicks and their chances of a good and strong finish this season. Experts have come up with the expected statistics that show him scoring 15 points per game and 8 rebounds per game.
The French player, Nicolas Batum, will also be seen returning to play in the Portland Blazers in the small forward position. This player is extremely talented and has a good basketball IQ that has led him to play for the French team at the young age of 20. The tall and very athletic player has the ability to make his presence felt from anywhere on the court whether it be from a great outside range or after making a quick move to the basket. The talent and skill that this splendid player possess, enables him to score from many different positions and create a fear among opponents.
 Though the Blazers have come up with the signing of Wesley Mathews, the experts still believe that Batum will be bagging in some good. Reports suggest that this player would be getting opportunities without a doubt but it’s on him whether he grabs them. If he pounces on the opportunity that comes in his way then he will surely be on the road to becoming the best and top players of the game. The expected season statistics for Nicolas Batum are as follows. This player is expected to score only 12 points per game but reports suggest that he will be improving as he still has a lot to learn as he gains experiences and also from players around him.
