2010 ATP China Open: Novak Djokovic cruises into the final
World number two Novak Djokovic has successfully made his way into the final of the 2010 ATP China Open singles Men’s Competition on Saturday after getting the better of his American tennis foe, John Isner in two sets in Beijing. The final match score was
7-6(1), 6-2. The clash concluded in a time period of eighty seven minutes on Saturday.
The 23-year-old Serbian as a result of this victory has extended his match record to 8-0 in Beijing. The right handed Djokovic will next attempt to capture his eighteen ATP World Tour crown of his career and thus register his name as the second contender
in the history of the ATP World Tour 500 hard surface to grab back-to-back trophies. The Swiss tennis maestro, Roger Federer captured the title on three occasions in a row from 2003 to 2005.
The top seed Djokovic is coming off his final run at the year’s final Grand Slam, the United States open in New York where he was defeated by the world number one Rafael Nadal in the title battle. Nadal after winning the United States open title on the very
first occasion in his career, registered his name as the seventh player in the history to complete his career Grand Slam. Djokovic, on his way into the finals in Flushing Meadows got the better of Viktor Troicki, Philipp Petzschner, James Blake, Mardy Fish,

The Serbian registered his 30th hard court victory of the season here in Beijing on Saturday after blasting a total of five aces against his American tennis foe, John Isner. He won seventy seven percent of his service game points and converted
three of twelve break point chances versus the American on Saturday.
Isner, on the other hand, who is currently ranked number twenty two in the world by the Association of tennis professionals, as a result of this defeat has dropped to a career record of 4-12 versus the top ten foes. He has smashed a total of nine hundred
and thirty one aces and won the most tie breaks this year.
