Ryan Harris and Doug Bollinger will be expected to bring back hope in the squad in the second Test at Adelaide, which is also a flat pitch, and if the Australian bowlers fail to deliver again, let’s just say it will only get worse for Cricket Australia. Harris and Bollinger were also selected for the first Test in the inflated squad but then they were let go. Harris proved to the selectors that he can be durable with his four wickets in a One-Dayer for Queensland and also having secured six more wickets in a fixture of Sheffield Shield while playing against Victoria. Ponting started supporting Harris after he watched him work tirelessly during his first two Tests against New Zealand in the beginning of this year.
