2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series – Atlanta Thrashers up against Detroit Red Wings
The single meeting between the Detroit Red Wings and the Atlanta Thrashers will take place this Wednesday. The match with be hosted by the Atlanta Thrashers who are hopeful of a win. The meeting between the two teams that took place in November 2009 saw
the Atlanta Thrashers win 2-0 after a splendid performance by their goal keeper who made 20 saves during the course of the season. The game was played in Detroit the power in the Thrashers attacks proved to be too much and they would be looking to repeat that

The Detroit Red Wings also impressed many with the dominating performance they came up against the Calgary to win the game 5-4. Going into the final period of the match on Sunday, the Red Wings was trailing 4-2 but scored twice in the final period and eventually
won the match in overtime.
The Detroit Red Wings are the team in spectacular form currently have enjoyed a lot of success currently. They have been successful in the last 7 of their games including the amazing comeback victory against the Calgary Flames.
The Detroit Red Wings were in a commanding position until they faced defeat from the Minnesota Wild this past Friday.

The amazing fact about this player is that his idol player that he has followed from childhood is Pavel Datsyuk of the Detroit Red Wings. It will be interesting to see how he plays against him.
The Detroit Red Wings have a very good chance of winning the game as they are very strong offensively and the offence is only getting better as they come across games. The Atlanta Thrashers on the other hand have finally found form following from Dustin
Byfuglien who went three consecutive games without much to talk about.
Byfuglien impressed many as he scored the winner against the New York Islanders in overtime. "He wants to be a difference maker all the time," Coach Craig Ramsay said of Byfuglien following the win against the Isles.
