2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series – Boston Bruins win 3-1 against the Florida Panthers
The Boston Bruins versus the Florida Panthers was the 315th game of the 2010 Compuware NHL Premiere Series. The match took place at the Bank Atlantic Centre, home of the Florida Panthers this Wednesday. A massive crowd of nearly 17,000 fans come
to witness the match. This was the 20th game of the campaign for both sides as they searched a victory.
Both teams exploded with the start of the match as they fired shots every now and then. The home team was stronger in the start but with the passage of time, the away side also started to pile up attacks.
The period didn’t see any goals scored but some brilliant pieces of play were observed during the course of the period. The period ended with the scores deadlocked at 0-0 with the Florida Panthers making 12 goal attempts while the Boston Bruins made 11 goal
attempts.
The 2nd period of the match saw the Florida Panthers come out with a lot of determination to score. They played hard to score a goal and were successful in getting into open positions regularly.
The home team successfully levelled the score with a goal in the 3rd minute of the period. The goal was scored by Steve Reinprecht through a wonderful flick shot. This was the only goal of the period though both the teams had numerous scoring
opportunities.

The final period saw the Boston Bruins turn the tables. The away side scored with the first play in the 8th second of the final period to level the scores. The goal was scored by Brad Marchand through a simple tip in shot.
The Boston Bruins didn’t let the home side settle after the goal and continued to put pressure on the Panther’s defence. The Boston Bruins successfully took the lead with another goal in the 3rd minute of the period. The goal was scored by Mark
Recchi from a wonderful flick shot.
Taking the lead, the Boston Bruins were content on completing the dominating performance in emphatic style. This is certainly what they did after constructed a brilliant piece of play and scoring in the 16th minute of the period. The goal was
scored by Mark Recchi once again.
The period and the match ended with the Boston Bruins winning the match 3-1. During the course of the final period the Boston Bruins made 18 goal attempts while the Florida Panthers made just 6 goal attempts.
